Once again this year – in the full respect of the measures anti-Covid19 – the association “L’Estetica dell’Effimero” has programmed a schedule of events linked to the memory of the arrival of Giovanni della Rovere and Giovanna da Montefeltro in our city.
On Saturday 5 September, at the gardens of Scuola Pascoli, in partnership with Libreria Mondadori, there will be the presentation of the book written by Alessandra Selmi “Le origini del potere”, which retraces the life of the most distinguished family member of Della Rovere: Giuliano, the humble Franciscan friar, was nominated as the Pope Giulio II, he was known as the “warrior Pope”.
Fabrizio Chiappetti, professor of literature and essayist, will interview the writer. The meeting will start at 6 p.m. In case of bad weather condition, the event will be held in Sala del Fico inside Palazzo Baviera.
